Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Elpidio Faro got the match started through his kick off. Clemente Isusko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ryszard Marchlewicz in the 4th minute of the match. 6 minutes into the match, Ryszard Marchlewicz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Clemente Isusko. Merlo FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ryszard Marchlewicz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Ryszard Marchlewicz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clemente Isusko having to interfere. Clemente Isusko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aluísio Gaspar in the 10th minute of the match. Zeledon Raphael kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. After having played for 15 minutes, Ryszard Marchlewicz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Falckner FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ryszard Marchlewicz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Merlo FC defense, Ryszard Marchlewicz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Clemente Isusko. The Merlo FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Clemente Isusko should have stopped the shot. In the 26th minute, Ryszard Marchlewicz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 28 minutes into the match, Merlo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ryszard Marchlewicz came free, but Clemente Isusko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rolando Leguizamón acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 30th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Eliseo Berto. Leonardo Estevons short, quick shot in the 31stth minute got Rolando Leguizamón to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Clemente Isusko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ryszard Marchlewicz in the 32nd minute of the match. Clemente Isusko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aluísio Gaspar, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ryszard Marchlewicz in the 35th minute of play forced Merlo FC's goalkeeper Clemente Isusko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rolando Leguizamón made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Leonardo Estevon sent off a good shot on target. Elpidio Faro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rolando Leguizamón read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Leonardo Estevon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Rolando Leguizamón tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Falckner FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ryszard Marchlewicz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Ryszard Marchlewicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Clemente Isusko made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Aluísio Gaspar sent off a good shot on target. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Merlo FC's goalkeeper Clemente Isusko, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 57 minutes into the game, Zeledon Raphael was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Merlo FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Falckner FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Merlo FC's Zeledon Raphael got a free kick in the 57th minute. Clemente Isusko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ryszard Marchlewicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 61st minute, Falckner FC's Osvaldo Salvatore seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Osvaldo Salvatore the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Falckner FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Osvaldo Salvatore had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 61 minutes into the game, one of Falckner FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 64th minute there was a penalty for Merlo FC. Geronimo Otsando stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Rolando Leguizamón. 1-2. Ryszard Marchlewicz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 76 played minutes Falckner FC got a freekick which was hit by Honorio Maju. In the 79th minute Leonardo Estevon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Leguizamón saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 81 minutes into the match, Falckner FC's goal looked a bit too open when Elpidio Faro came free, but Rolando Leguizamón reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 83rd match minute, Falckner FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Honorio Maju to maneuver through the defense. Falckner FC's Rolando Leguizamón played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elpidio Faro in the 87th minute of play.
