Silverio Arotza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruno Erdiano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 13 minutes into the match, El Parro's goal looked a bit too open when Dalmacio Saturnin came free, but Joel Etxepare reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Silverio Arotza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruno Erdiano, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dalmacio Saturnin in the 19th minute of play forced El Parro's goalkeeper Joel Etxepare to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Cesar Maiorga came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the C.A. Rosario Sudoeste fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cesar Maiorga couldn't finish the play. In the 22nd match minute, El Parro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reynaldo Garci to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by David Betadur during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 23 minutes into the game, one of El Parro:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Joel Etxepare went to the wrong direction when Iker Roldanillo was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Joel Etxepare stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Natalio Balendin's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. After 29 played minutes El Parro got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Erdiano. Maximo Vincente's late challenge caught a C.A. Rosario Sudoeste's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Maximo Vincente helped the player get up and apologised. Maximo Vincente kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. After having played for 33 minutes, Natalio Balendin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.A. Rosario Sudoeste's supporters crossed their fingers, but Natalio Balendin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Natalio Balendin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Joel Etxepare tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 39th minute, Jaime Castel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 41 played minutes, El Parro's Primitivo Bidari shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Silverio Arotza came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in El Parro reached it. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Raul Crescencio made the kick off in the second half. Cesar Maiorga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joel Etxepare having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Niceto Telmo in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joel Etxepare prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of El Parro booed when C.A. Rosario Sudoeste was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaime Castel didn't get a good kick on the ball. C.A. Rosario Sudoeste's Silverio Arotza proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save C.A. Rosario Sudoeste from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Niceto Telmo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joel Etxepare was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. After a rather tough play, C.A. Rosario Sudoeste's Iker Roldanillo got a free kick in the 65th minute. C.A. Rosario Sudoeste's Silverio Arotza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raul Crescencio in the 66th minute of play. When C.A. A hard shot by Higinio Santana from long distance, 96 minutes into the match, got Silverio Arotza's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. C.A. Rosario Sudoeste fully deserved thier win.
