Spectators: 7199 (Terracing: 5401, Seating: 1655, VIP seats: 143) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Cecilio Otoniel kicked off to start the match. Chichilo F.C.'s Åge Sprankel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Chichilo F.C. from getting a goal against them. In the 6th minute Joel Lluterio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Åge Sprankel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 7thth minute of the game Joel Lluterio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chichilo F.C.'s Åge Sprankel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With an all-out effort, Rosario Central's Åge Sprankel threw himself towards the right post 9 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Adolfo Eron, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Rosario Central's Cleto Oroitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cecilio Otoniel in the 12th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Angelino Blanco got free with Åge Sprankel in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 22nd minute, Ladislao Mouricio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Rosario Central booed when Chichilo F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ladislao Mouricio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maximino Olivar charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Maximino Olivar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Maximino Olivar kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Maximino Olivar came free in the 33rd minute and tried to tip the ball over Cleto Oroitz, but to the joy of Rosario Central's supporters the ball went over. Cleto Oroitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cecilio Otoniel in the 36th minute of play. Ladislao Mouricio hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. In the 41st minute, Cecilio Otoniel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cleto Oroitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cecilio Otoniel in the 43rd minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lucio Txaran stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rosario Central's Lucio Txaran got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 60 minutes, Lucio Txaran managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rosario Central's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucio Txaran was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 62nd minute, Edelmiro Maiorga fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 65 minutes into the match, Chichilo F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Lucio Txaran came free, but Åge Sprankel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ladislao Mouricio hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Cecilio Otoniel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Cleto Oroitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chichilo F.C.'s Cecilio Otoniel got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Maximino Olivar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 84 minutes into the match, Rosario Central's goalkeeper Cleto Oroitz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cecilio Otoniel. After 88 played minutes Rosario Central got a freekick which was hit by Virgilio Tipi. Cecilio Otoniel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cecilio Otoniel struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Cleto Oroitz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chichilo F.C..
