The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 minutes, Camilo Daunte mouthed his way into the referee's book. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Hipolito Johans struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Nilson Guimarães didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Millonarios del Sur. In the 32nd minute, Bruno Niguel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hipolito Johans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 36 minutes, Alonzo Lorencio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Millonarios del Sur and the Beto FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hipolito Johans stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Freddy Camerino couldn't finish the play. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Artemio Cutberto fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Beto FC's protests and gave Artemio Cutberto a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Beto FC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play.
