A collision led to Chicoana AFC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Guy Vonarburg hit a great ball. In the 44th minute of the match, Emanuel Servando got a very nice opportunity to score, but Braulio Hermelando was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Braulio Hermelando made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Placido Cefero in the 46th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Placido Cefero to make the kick off. Braulio Hermelando was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Placido Cefero in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Braulio Hermelando prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Club Deportivo Español's Braulio Hermelando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guy Vonarburg in the 66th minute of play. Braulio Hermelando took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roberto Elixio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Braulio Hermelando didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Roberto Elixio went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. In the 75th minute of the match, Lautaro Ferrero tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Higinio Ruisko saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line.
