The crowd rose to their feet as El rojo's Konstantin Havasi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Zeledon Rios. That made the score 0-2 after 56 minutes of play. If Benito Mouricio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. El rojo's attentive Hanif Darmawan managed to snatch the ball when Elvio Pello made a throw-in in the 66th minute of the game. Roberto Lonzo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benito Mouricio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Boedo fuchibol club's zone, Gabriel Batistuta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. In the 82nd minute, El rojo's Gabriel Batistuta dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. 85 minutes into the match, Boedo fuchibol club's goal looked a bit too open when Hanif Darmawan came free, but Zeledon Rios reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
