Fitarruín's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Roman Peio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Emilio Gartzen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stasio Kosioreks short, quick shot in the 16thth minute got Ramiro Atarratze to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 24th minute Stasio Kosiorek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramiro Atarratze saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Cipriano Seme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bernardo Baudelio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emilio Gartzen in the 28th minute of play. In the 31st minute Stasio Kosiorek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramiro Atarratze saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, Potrero FC's goal looked a bit too open when Emilio Gartzen came free, but Bernardo Baudelio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emilio Gartzen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bernardo Baudelio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Patricio Firmin during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Fitarruín's Ramiro Atarratze proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Fitarruín from getting a goal against them. After 47 played minutes Fitarruín got a freekick which was hit by Godofredo Endura. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Edgard Phelipe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Potrero FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Edgard Phelipe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ramiro Atarratze breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The wind increased when Emilio Gartzen made the kick off in the second half. Ramiro Atarratze made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johnny Strömberg in the 53rd minute of play. Stasio Kosiorek scored 3-0 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ramiro Atarratze, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 58th match minute, Fitarruín was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diego Machado to maneuver through the defense. After 65 played minutes Fitarruín got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Avellaneda. In the 68th minute Roman Peio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramiro Atarratze saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Emilio Gartzen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fitarruín's Ramiro Atarratze played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johnny Strömberg in the 73rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roman Peio in the 75th minute of play forced Fitarruín's goalkeeper Ramiro Atarratze to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 84th minute, Roman Peio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Potrero FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Ivan Euloxu kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Ramiro Atarratze showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stasio Kosiorek, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. 96 minutes into the match, Potrero FC's Roman Peio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ramiro Atarratze narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
