With a left leg Albino Guerau saved Futbol Club Ciclistas from getting behind. 6 minutes into the match, Hammerfall's goal looked a bit too open when Gustavo Cordeiro came free, but Santos Santiago reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 6th minute, Celestino Elodio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gustavo Cordeiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Santos Santiago read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. Feliberto Romano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Narciso Ralondo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hammerfall's supporters rose to their feet, but Narciso Ralondo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Albino Guerau breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Feliberto Romano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albino Guerau having to interfere. Enrique Pacifico recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Futbol Club Ciclistas booed when Hammerfall was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evelio Veronica didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Enrique Pacifico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 35th minute, Narciso Ralondo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hammerfall fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After 40 minutes, Esteban Porfiro made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Hammerfall's Santos Santiago tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Santos Santiago took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Esteban Porfiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Narciso Ralondo during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Esteban Porfiro made a kick off. After 52 minutes Hammerfall's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gustavo Cordeiro who took care of the corner kick. Santos Santiago showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enrique Pacifico, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. 57 minutes into the match, Hammerfall's Evelio Veronica sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Albino Guerau narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Esteban Porfiro in the 59th minute of play forced Hammerfall's goalkeeper Santos Santiago to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Hammerfall booed when Futbol Club Ciclistas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teodoro Diaz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Santos Santiago showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Esteban Porfiro in the 67th minute of the match. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Hammerfall getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Fabricio Artal hit a great ball. Sabit Battal kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Narciso Ralondo succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 88th playminute. In the 92nd minute, Evelio Veronica hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
