Defensores de Ñuls's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave excurcio the free kick. Kari Paukkunen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 23 minutes, Gerardo Esiquio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the excurcio and the Defensores de Ñuls players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gerardo Esiquio hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Patricio Ireno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mihnea Murgu in the 24th minute of play. With a little luck, Defensores de Ñuls's Ovidio Burni got control of the ball when Samuel Vermudo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 72ndth minute of the game Samuel Vermudo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Defensores de Ñuls's Ovidio Burni was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 73 minutes into the game, Rod Davey cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Ovidio Burni was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Samuel Vermudo in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ovidio Burni saved Defensores de Ñuls from getting behind. In the 82nd minute Gerardo Esiquio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidio Burni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florentino Matthew in the 83rd minute of play forced excurcio's goalkeeper Patricio Ireno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mihnea Murgu in the 84thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Patricio Ireno, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Abelardo Soin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Patricio Ireno made a huge save.
