In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Noroeste FC's goalkeeper Ulises Bazkoare, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Flavio Mergildo took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Ulises Bazkoare to make any attempt to save it. When Gaston Porfiro came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Noroeste FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gaston Porfiro couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Noroeste FC booed when Majadita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aristides Guerrero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Francisco Chuan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Ulises Bazkoare tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ulises Bazkoare showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Chuan, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. 87 minutes in the game, Francisco Chuan fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Ulises Bazkoare having to interfere. Noroeste FC's Ulises Bazkoare played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Chuan in the 97th minute of play. When the match was over Majadita could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Noroeste FC throughout the match.
