Rene Lamberto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Chuan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 14 minutes, Maximino Delfino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. System Utd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maximino Delfino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 18thth minute of the game Francisco Chuan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but System Utd's Rene Lamberto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Majadita booed when System Utd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximino Delfino didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Majadita's Flavio Mergildo got a free kick in the 22nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavio Mergildo in the 23rd minute of play forced System Utd's goalkeeper Rene Lamberto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rene Lamberto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flavio Mergildo, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. When Francisco Chuan came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Majadita fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Francisco Chuan couldn't finish the play. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Aristides Guerrero got free with Rene Lamberto in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Cecilio Giro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 60th minute Francisco Chuan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rene Lamberto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Francisco Chuan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Francisco Chuan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 92nd minute, Flavio Mergildo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Majadita fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. 1-5 came in the 95th minute when Maximino Delfino all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Wilfredo Sarracino.
