Spectators: 6647 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1647, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Celso Shepherd took the kick off in the first half of the match. 4 minutes had been played when some careless play by NAYM F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Haroldo Aurken was slow to take the kick. During this time Calchaquí's players had a chance to rest. In the 12th match minute, Calchaquí was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matias Iyan to maneuver through the defense. Calchaquí's Biagio Porcu got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 20th match minute, NAYM F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vinicio Vellito to maneuver through the defense. Celso Shepherd recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Calchaquí's Biagio Porcu got a free kick in the 25th minute. Eugenio Baudelio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Conrado Leoiar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 32nd minute, Celso Shepherd got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Celso Shepherd managed to get in a good position for a shot. NAYM F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Celso Shepherd was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amadeu Gonçalves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Celso Shepherd sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 40 minutes into the match, Calchaquí's goal looked a bit too open when Celso Shepherd came free, but Amadeu Gonçalves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Prudencio Maraman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Biagio Porcu made the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Calchaquí's goalkeeper Amadeu Gonçalves, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Celso Shepherd got free with Amadeu Gonçalves in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Celso Shepherd struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Amadeu Gonçalves didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for NAYM F.C.. Eugenio Baudelio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. NAYM F.C.'s Conrado Leoiar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Biagio Porcu in the 71st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Eugenio Baudelio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Calchaquí's supporters rose to their feet, but Eugenio Baudelio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Conrado Leoiar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Calchaquí getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Haroldo Aurken hit a great ball. In the 79th minute, Elvio Valentine sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Calchaquí's Amadeu Gonçalves didn't even have to move. Conrado Leoiar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Biagio Porcu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The NAYM F.C. fans' excitement grew in the 88th match minute when NAYM F.C.'s Celso Shepherd looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 91 minutes into the game, Biagio Porcu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Conrado Leoiar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
