Spectators: 7135 (Terracing: 5353, Seating: 1641, VIP seats: 141) Tafí's Ubaldo Nisio started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Godofredo Hernandez's late challenge caught a Tafí's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Godofredo Hernandez helped the player get up and apologised. In the 6th match minute, Almirante Brown was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Godofredo Hernandez to maneuver through the defense. Ubaldo Nisio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Hector Pueblo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 25th minute, Edgardo Joey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ubaldo Nisio struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Hector Pueblo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tafí. Ubaldo Nisio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Hector Pueblo made a huge save. In the 29th match minute, Almirante Brown was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abel Cordarius to maneuver through the defense. Teobaldo Enetz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hector Pueblo having to interfere. Hector Pueblo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Luken, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 33 minutes Almirante Brown's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ubaldo Nisio who took care of the corner kick. After some careless play in the Almirante Brown defense, Ubaldo Nisio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hector Pueblo. The Almirante Brown fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hector Pueblo should have stopped the shot. Paulinho Carioca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celso Txeru in the 49th minute of play.

The wind increased when Dionisio Vincente made the kick off in the second half. When Ramiro Playo came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Tafí fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ramiro Playo couldn't finish the play. In the 57th minute of the game Guido Elodio made a throw-in which Godofredo Hernandez played forward. Hector Pueblo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ubaldo Nisio in the 65th minute of the match. Dionisio Vincente was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 67th minute. Almirante Brown's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Almirante Brown's Dionisio Vincente came free and shot a quick shot against goal 69 minutes in the game, fortunately Paulinho Carioca had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Saturnino Barea hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Dionisio Vincente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 88 minutes into the match, Teobaldo Enetz notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Almirante Brown's Hector Pueblo. Hector Pueblo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 94 minutes into the game, Ubaldo Nisio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Hector Pueblo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tafí walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
