Bogdan Cichowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 吕笑崇 in the 20th minute of play. In the 22nd minute of the match Benito Peter sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bogdan Cichowski skillfully saved the ball. Bogdan Cichowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 吕笑崇, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Tate Sta Fe getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Leandro Aresti hit a great ball. Roque Duarte scored 1-1 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Blas Gaur, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and 吕笑崇 made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Luis Eufrasio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Futbol Club Barcelona booed when Tate Sta Fe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Primitivo Iratze didn't get a good kick on the ball. Despite being the better team, Futbol Club Barcelona failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
