Anastasio Cristofol recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mercedes's Sebastian Nesor got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sebastian Nesor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flavio Jerardo having to interfere. Flavio Jerardo came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Mercedes's Sebastian Nesor. But to his dismay, Sebastian Nesor quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aquilino Quirce stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Dario Clis fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Mercedes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aquilino Quirce was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Conrado Resto during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 57th match minute, Mercedes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Conrado Resto to maneuver through the defense. Flavio Jerardo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aquilino Quirce in the 61st minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aquilino Quirce in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Flavio Jerardo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 69 minutes of play, Mercedes's Sebastian Nesor made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Flavio Jerardo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Flavio Jerardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Nesor in the 75th minute of play. In the 78th minute, Aquilino Quirce got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 80 minutes into the game, Mercedes's Sebastian Nesor nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Flavio Jerardo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. If Sebastian Nesor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Gaspar Sayvion had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Francisco Justin hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. In the 93rd minute, Gaspar Sayvion hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mercedes's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
