The Iriarte fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Zentena's zone, Celso Solustiano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Severino Boniel came out of the goal and Celso Solustiano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Iriarte booed when Zentena was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucio Tolino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Severino Boniel made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Celso Solustiano sent off a good shot on target. In the 16th minute, Iriarte's Aquiles Neto ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Severino Boniel. Severino Boniel yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luisito Garoa in the 21st minute of play forced Iriarte's goalkeeper Atilano Bras to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24th minute, Gaston Etxekopar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 27 minutes into the match, Zentena's goal looked a bit too open when Aquiles Neto came free, but Severino Boniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 29 played minutes Zentena got a freekick which was hit by Enzo Manex. Xavier Leal received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Celso Solustiano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Iriarte's supporters rose to their feet, but Celso Solustiano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Severino Boniel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Xavier Leal struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Severino Boniel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Iriarte. Celso Solustiano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Xavier Leal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Celso Solustiano in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Severino Boniel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Severino Boniel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aquiles Neto went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. In the 80th minute, Xavier Leal made a precise shot to the right of Severino Boniel. Zentena's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Aquiles Neto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Severino Boniel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 88thth minute of the game Aquiles Neto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Zentena's Severino Boniel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 92 minutes, Natalio Iliana mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zentena and the Iriarte players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Iriarte booed when Zentena was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Natalio Iliana didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 96th minute of the match Lucio Tolino sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Atilano Bras skillfully saved the ball. Iriarte walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
