Fabricio Abajas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horacio Perfecto, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Zacarias Tirso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonas Laurentzi having to interfere. In the 31st minute of the match, Santos Eusko got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jonas Laurentzi was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The Gomezchingones CF fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. C.D HISPANO AMERICANO were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
