The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. ZÁRATE FC's Rigoberto Abella played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serafim Bezerra in the 4th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Rigoberto Guillelme could shoot a difficult shot in the 11th minute, which Fernando Diagur however easily saved by the left post. A collision led to ZÁRATE FC getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Lorenzo Santikurtz hit a great ball. Serafim Bezerra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rigoberto Abella having to interfere. After 17 minutes, Serafim Bezerra made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. ZÁRATE FC's Rigoberto Abella tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 0-2 became the score in the 20th minute when Serafim Bezerra elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 25th minute Serafim Bezerra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rigoberto Abella saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in ZÁRATE FC's zone, Curt Stapf stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rigoberto Abella came out of the goal and Curt Stapf tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Serafim Bezerra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Serafim Bezerra took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rigoberto Abella. Rigoberto Abella dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Charbonier's Serafim Bezerra got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 42nd minute, Sixten Källberg made a precise shot to the right of Rigoberto Abella. ZÁRATE FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Sixten Källberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Rigoberto Abella tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Serafim Bezerra to make the kick off. Rigoberto Abella showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sixten Källberg in the 53rd minute of the match. Rigoberto Abella made an important save on a dangerous shot by Serafim Bezerra in the 56th minute. Teodosio Olo hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Charbonier made a substitution. Cristobal Oinaz replaced Sixten Källberg. Serafim Bezerra in the 74thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Charbonier's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
