The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute, Abelardo Mogel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Flavio Bladi hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Fidel Tonio struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Anier Nalo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Traili AFC. Cleto Urbasa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Anier Nalo having to make a save. If Aldo Raymundo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cleto Urbasa might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anier Nalo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cleto Urbasa ran back to his position shaking his head. Cleto Urbasa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fidel Tonio scored 0-1 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Anier Nalo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cleto Urbasa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anier Nalo having to interfere. Gabriel Laffitte hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Paternal's Anier Nalo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cleto Urbasa in the 32nd minute of play. Candido Tano kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Jacinto Xabier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Cordeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anier Nalo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aldo Raymundo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cleto Urbasa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anier Nalo having to interfere. In the 46th minute, Cleto Urbasa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Traili AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. The Paternal players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Traili AFC were winning 0-2.

Cleto Urbasa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anier Nalo having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Paternal's zone, Candido Tano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anier Nalo came out of the goal and Candido Tano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cleto Urbasa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Anier Nalo made a huge save. If Cleto Urbasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Candido Tano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Traili AFC's Cleto Urbasa got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cleto Urbasa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anier Nalo having to interfere. Traili AFC's Cleto Urbasa got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Godofredo Galo hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. 79 minutes into the match, Paternal's goalkeeper Anier Nalo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cleto Urbasa. Aldo Raymundo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Anier Nalo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cleto Urbasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anier Nalo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. Cleto Urbasa received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Anier Nalo came out and tried to block the shot, but Cleto Urbasa slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 85th minute. After a rather tough play, Paternal's Godofredo Galo got a free kick in the 87th minute. Anier Nalo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fidel Tonio in the 88th minute. In the 89th match minute, Paternal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flavio Bladi to maneuver through the defense. In the 92nd minute Traili AFC were awarded a corner. Leopoldo Aimar went to the cornerflag to take it. Abelardo Mogel was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. If Fidel Tonio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cleto Urbasa struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Anier Nalo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Traili AFC. When the match was over Traili AFC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Paternal throughout the match.
