The referee felt a red card was in order, 7 minutes into the game, when Gualterio Cordarin put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Free AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 7th minute. Penalty! The supporters of Laprida FC booed when Free AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo Ovando didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 16th minute, Free AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Mateo Urtzi fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 25th minute, Mateo Urtzi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Laprida FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 28th minute, Dante Etxahun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ildefonso Distiratsu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rogelio Oinaz in the 35th minute of play. Edgardo Estevon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domingos Abecia having to interfere. Delmiro Donio took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Domingos Abecia. Domingos Abecia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sixto Paio during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 54 played minutes Laprida FC got a freekick which was hit by Sixto Paio. 58 minutes into the game, Dante Etxahun was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Free AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Laprida FC the free kick. Dante Etxahun kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Rogelio Oinaz scored 2-1 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ildefonso Distiratsu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ivan Seguinus took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 69th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ildefonso Distiratsu. Free AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Free AFC's Ildefonso Distiratsu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mateo Urtzi in the 70th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rodolfo Jerardo during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ivan Seguinus during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ivan Seguinus hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Free AFC's Edgardo Estevon got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Domingos Abecia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgardo Estevon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. For all the effort they put into the match, the Free AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Laprida FC.
