The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Santos Beila to strike the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the game, Gavino Martino recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Epifanio Reynardo. Epifanio Reynardo came out of the goal and Aníbal de Souza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gavino Martino in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Epifanio Reynardo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the final whistle sounded Correra left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Quilmes AC.
