After having played for 3 minutes, Gavino Martino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Correra's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gavino Martino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Gavino Martino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aníbal de Souza might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ezequiel Nahia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aníbal de Souza ran back to his position shaking his head. If Gavino Martino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Hughes FC's Ezequiel Nahia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gavino Martino in the 13th minute of play. Aníbal de Souza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ezequiel Nahia having to interfere. Ezequiel Nahia came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Correra's Aníbal de Souza. But to his dismay, Aníbal de Souza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. If Adrian Jerca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ezequiel Nahia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aníbal de Souza went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. 26 minutes into the match, Cristian Faron dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ezequiel Nahia, 3-0. Ezequiel Nahia didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 29th minute, which inside left pole to 4-0. A hard shot 32 in the game by Aníbal de Souza from a close distance when the talented Ezequiel Nahia managed to make a qualified save. Hughes FC's players were relieved. Correra's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Aníbal de Souza in the 33rd minute. Gavino Martino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 42 played minutes Hughes FC got a freekick which was hit by Alexandre Moreira. When Adrian Jerca came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Correra fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adrian Jerca couldn't finish the play. Aníbal de Souza could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Ezequiel Nahia made a huge save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gavino Martino stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Hughes FC's zone, Gavino Martino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ezequiel Nahia came out of the goal and Gavino Martino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ezequiel Nahia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gavino Martino in the 54th minute of play. Hughes FC's Ezequiel Nahia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aníbal de Souza in the 56th minute of play. Aníbal de Souza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ezequiel Nahia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. When Aníbal de Souza came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Correra fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aníbal de Souza couldn't finish the play. 63 minutes into the game, Correra's Gavino Martino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ezequiel Nahia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Gavino Martino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gavino Martino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Ezequiel Nahia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hughes FC's Ezequiel Nahia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jose Cambranes in the 76th minute of play. Correra's Gavino Martino got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 82nd match minute, Correra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aníbal de Souza to maneuver through the defense. Aníbal de Souza blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ezequiel Nahia having to make a save. Gavino Martino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Ezequiel Nahia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Aníbal de Souza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ezequiel Nahia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aníbal de Souza in the 92nd minute of the match. Ezequiel Nahia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gavino Martino, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Ezequiel Nahia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aníbal de Souza in the 96th minute of the match. In the 99th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hughes FC's goalkeeper Ezequiel Nahia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the referee ended the match the Correra players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
