The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Everardo Barbosa to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Everardo Barbosa in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Patricio Igon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Felix Polentzi struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Ramon Filipo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Higuerita AFC. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Tapalqué had played much better football throughout.
