Alonzo Astudillo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Reynaldo Todor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicasio Hanot in the 15th minute of play. A hard shot 16 in the game by Alonzo Astudillo from a close distance when the talented Humberto Salomone managed to make a qualified save. Vásquez FC's players were relieved. After 17 played minutes Arsenio Sendoa rounded Vásquez FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Reynaldo Todor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicasio Hanot, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. If Aaron Osoitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nicasio Hanot charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nicasio Hanot the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Vásquez FC's Nicasio Hanot got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Chajarí FC's Reynaldo Todor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas Atarrabi in the 34th minute of play. Humberto Salomone showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Behçet Uluçam, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. In the 41st minute, Jeremias Nabar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 42 minutes into the game, Alonzo Astudillo lined in a short shot 3-0 behind a frustrated Humberto Salomone. If Aaron Osoitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Angelino Urtsua to make the kick off. After 62 played minutes Vásquez FC got a freekick which was hit by Gabriel Urritz. Reynaldo Todor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelino Urtsua, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gabriel Urritz got free with Reynaldo Todor in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Aaron Osoitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Humberto Salomone tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Venancio Eriz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 74th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Humberto Salomone. Vásquez FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Reynaldo Todor came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Vásquez FC's Gabriel Urritz. But to his dismay, Gabriel Urritz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. If Oscar Dantel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Reynaldo Todor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicasio Hanot in the 84th minute of play. With his leg Reynaldo Todor managed to avoid a goal in the 86thth minute, when Vásquez FC's Lucas Atarrabi fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Reynaldo Todor made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gabriel Urritz in the 88th minute. 89 minutes into the match, Chajarí FC's goal looked a bit too open when Angelino Urtsua came free, but Reynaldo Todor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 94 minutes, Nicasio Hanot took a quick shot and it went in 3-2 without a chance for Reynaldo Todor to make any attempt to save it.
