Edward's defense didn't have a chance, in the 9th minute, when Ulises Arlo scored to the left of an out of position Cipriano Gora, making the score, 2-0. Cipriano Gora was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Arsenio Gartzen showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 12 minute of play. If Venancio Mateo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Helmet Black booed when Edward was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saturnino Mederi didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Helmet Black's Efrain Herensuge slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cipriano Gora. That made the score 4-0 after 23 minutes of play. If Venancio Mateo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Salvador Nataniel came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Edward fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Salvador Nataniel couldn't finish the play. Venancio Mateo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Miguel Isaio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Saturnino Mederi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Isaio having to interfere. If Salvador Nataniel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Venancio Mateo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Venancio Mateo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Isaio having to interfere. 45 minutes into the game, Efrain Herensuge recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cipriano Gora. Efrain Herensuge showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 5-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Efrain Herensuge was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Helmet Black's zone, Venancio Mateo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miguel Isaio came out of the goal and Venancio Mateo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Miguel Isaio made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Venancio Mateo sent off a good shot on target. Miguel Isaio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Salvador Nataniel, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Efrain Herensuge in the 69th minute of play forced Edward's goalkeeper Cipriano Gora to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Venancio Mateo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Miguel Isaio made a huge save. Edward's Cipriano Gora played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arsenio Gartzen in the 78th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Edward's Venancio Mateo got a free kick in the 82nd minute. With a little luck, Helmet Black's Miguel Isaio got control of the ball when Venancio Mateo tried to sneak it across the goal line. 85 minutes into the match, Edward's Saturnino Mederi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Miguel Isaio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 89th minute, Venancio Mateo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Miguel Isaio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Venancio Mateo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cipriano Gora took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arsenio Gartzen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Edward's zone, Ulises Arlo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cipriano Gora came out of the goal and Ulises Arlo tried to chip the ball over his head.
