Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Fernando Javiar started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Rodrigo Petrigai's late challenge caught a Malligasta's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rodrigo Petrigai helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Malligasta booed when Esperanza was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodrigo Petrigai didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fernando Javiar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. After some careless play in the Malligasta defense, Fernando Javiar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ezequiel Eneas. The Malligasta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ezequiel Eneas should have stopped the shot. Erasmo Leizarraga stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bernardo Gomesano's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. When Bernardo Gomesano, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 17 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Erasmo Leizarraga was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Guaberto Fero could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Erasmo Leizarraga made a huge save. After 24 minutes, Guaberto Fero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Malligasta and the Esperanza players grew even worse after the yellow card. Guaberto Fero hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Erasmo Leizarraga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernardo Gomesano, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Malligasta's Bernardo Gomesano got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Malligasta's Bernardo Gomesano saw an opening behind the goalie Erasmo Leizarraga in the 35thth minute and tried to shoot past into the top right corner, but with great reflexes Erasmo Leizarraga with one arm managed to save the shot in the last secound. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Guaberto Fero in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Erasmo Leizarraga saved Esperanza from getting behind. In the 37th minute Bernardo Gomesano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erasmo Leizarraga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bernardo Gomesano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Erasmo Leizarraga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardo Gomesano in the 55th minute of the match. Bernardo Gomesano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bernardo Gomesano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bernardo Gomesano struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Erasmo Leizarraga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Malligasta. Malligasta's Guaberto Fero got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Malligasta's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
