The crowd rose to their feet as Fermin Calvet kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Hermengildo Ramos. That made the score 2-0 in the 21 minute of play. Hermengildo Ramos made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Godofredo Natal sent off a good shot on target. In the 28th minute, Isidoro Belasko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fermin Baristo in the 29th minute of play forced KilmesFC's goalkeeper Hermengildo Ramos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in KilmesFC's zone, Esteban Javiero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hermengildo Ramos came out of the goal and Esteban Javiero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 40th minute Godofredo Natal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hermengildo Ramos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fermin Calvets short, quick shot in the 42ndth minute got Hermengildo Ramos to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 45th minute Siro Luken shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hermengildo Ramos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

If Vladimiro Columbo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 93rd minute, Fermin Calvet left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Euskadi FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. KilmesFC's Hermengildo Ramos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hugo Bålström in the 97th minute of play. There was no doubt that Euskadi FC were the better team. Euskadi FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
