Spectators: 7174 (Terracing: 5382, Seating: 1650, VIP seats: 142) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Hermengildo Ferrando took the kick off in the first half of the match. Hilario Jaume showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luciano Arias in the 3rd minute of the match. Gavino Gudesteo took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hilario Jaume. Hilario Jaume dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. If Anselmo Innocenzio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 17th minute, Zeledon Furtado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 20 minutes into the match, La Banda Roja's goalkeeper Damaso Medardo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zeledon Furtado. Zeledon Furtado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Damaso Medardo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jeronimo Tximitx hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Luciano Arias managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Banda Roja's supporters rose to their feet, but Luciano Arias was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hilario Jaume breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hermengildo Ferrando might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hilario Jaume. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hermengildo Ferrando ran back to his position shaking his head. 34 minutes into the match, La Banda Roja's goal looked a bit too open when Zeledon Furtado came free, but Damaso Medardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 35 minutes into the game, Hermengildo Ferrando cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Hilario Jaume was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gavino Gudesteo struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Hilario Jaume didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Banda Roja. Hermengildo Ferrando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hilario Jaume having to interfere. In the 45th minute, Hermengildo Ferrando made a precise shot to the right of Hilario Jaume. Villa Malcolm's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zeledon Furtado to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, La Banda Roja's goal looked a bit too open when Zeledon Furtado came free, but Damaso Medardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Damaso Medardo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zeledon Furtado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luciano Arias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gavino Gudesteo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hilario Jaume having to interfere. Villa Malcolm's Hilario Jaume played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luciano Arias in the 59th minute of play. In the 60th minute, Anselmo Innocenzio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hilario Jaume came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by La Banda Roja's Gavino Gudesteo. But to his dismay, Gavino Gudesteo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luciano Arias in the 72nd minute of play forced Villa Malcolm's goalkeeper Hilario Jaume to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 75 minutes into the game, when Donato Honrio put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in La Banda Roja fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 74th minute. Penalty! In the 77th minute, Fidel Etxahun ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Damaso Medardo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. La Banda Roja's Eduardo Erasto was substituted for Serafin Alvarez. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 82nd minute of the game. One of Villa Malcolm:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of La Banda Roja:s goal. Anselmo Innocenzio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damaso Medardo having to interfere. In the 90th minute of the match Marciano Dominguez shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Damaso Medardo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Hilario Jaume made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gavino Gudesteo in the 97th minute. La Banda Roja's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
