Santo Raymundo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Leandro Guerau showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 20 minute of play. Santo Raymundo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dario Lain in the 26th minute. In the 26th match minute, Kurfürstendamm ST was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jimeno Gorbea to maneuver through the defense. Mazembe FC's Alfredo Faro shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 28th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Santo Raymundo but with some difficulty. In the 29th minute, Leandro Guerau got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Prospero Gurutz's late challenge caught a Mazembe FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Prospero Gurutz helped the player get up and apologised. Prospero Gurutz kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Alfredo Faro kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. When Dario Lain came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Mazembe FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dario Lain couldn't finish the play. If Leandro Guerau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leandro Guerau in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Santo Raymundo saved Kurfürstendamm ST from getting behind. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dario Lain was the one to do the kick off. Serafin Fliz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santo Raymundo having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gabriel Erramu got free with Roberto Jakobe in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 67thth minute of the game Dario Lain who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kurfürstendamm ST's Santo Raymundo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Kurfürstendamm ST getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Gabriel Erramu hit a great ball. In the 69th minute, Leandro Guerau left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mazembe FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. In the 72nd minute, Tomas Milio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Santo Raymundo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dario Lain, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A nice corner shot did that Silvio Ramos got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Santo Raymundo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Dario Lain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 87 minutes, Leandro Guerau managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mazembe FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leandro Guerau was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kurfürstendamm ST's goalkeeper Santo Raymundo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 90th minute, Laureano Rodriguez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 92 minutes into the match, Leandro Guerau had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Santo Raymundo. Kurfürstendamm ST's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leandro Guerau was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0.
