A collision led to Hijo de franco getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Cornelio Inge hit a great ball. After having played for 21 minutes, Antonio Benino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Triangulo de OHM's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antonio Benino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Gaspar Etxahun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Antonio Benino in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Damian Phelipe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cornelio Inge struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Téo Linares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hijo de franco. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Hijo de franco's goalkeeper Damian Phelipe, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 44 minutes of play, El Triangulo de OHM's Antonio Benino made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Damian Phelipe was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Antonio Benino stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gaspar Etxahun might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Damian Phelipe. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gaspar Etxahun ran back to his position shaking his head. Damian Phelipe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaspar Etxahun in the 96th minute of play. El Triangulo de OHM's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
