To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 2-2 became the score in the 36th minute when Honorato Loren elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Honorato Loren did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-2 to the left of a surprised Téo Linares 39 minutes into the match. Luciano Enekoitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The first half was very even, with the score at 3-3 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Vladimir Arantes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serafino Firme in the 55th minute of the match. OLIMPIA PY's Vladimir Arantes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save OLIMPIA PY from getting a goal against them. OLIMPIA PY's Vladimir Arantes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Melchor Cordaro in the 97th minute of play. When the match was over El Triangulo de OHM could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than OLIMPIA PY throughout the match.
