The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. German Txanton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Calderilla's zone, German Txanton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baltasar Rioja came out of the goal and German Txanton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Calderilla's Baltasar Rioja proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Calderilla from getting a goal against them. Baltasar Rioja showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 蒋坚广, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell German Txanton to make the kick off. In the 56th match minute, Calderilla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaime Eladio to maneuver through the defense. Baltasar Rioja showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 蒋坚广, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. In the 64th minute of the game Jonathan Orti made a throw-in which Angel Nesor played forward. If German Txanton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 86 minutes into the match, German Txanton had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Baltasar Rioja. Calderilla's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that German Txanton was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Union de Santa Fe walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
