Spectators: 7059 (Terracing: 5296, Seating: 1623, VIP seats: 140) 2 minutes into the match, Cosquín AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Melquiades Serapio came free, but Geronimo Artizar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Silvio Dolfos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Gerardo Claude tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gerardo Claude made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Teofilio in the 13th minute of play. After some careless play in the Margarita AFC defense, Jorge Teofilio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gerardo Claude. The Margarita AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gerardo Claude should have stopped the shot. Cornelio Jesco hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. The Cosquín AFC fans' excitement grew in the 26th match minute when Cosquín AFC's Silvio Dolfos looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joel Florian during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 31st minute, Joel Florian hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 34 minutes Cosquín AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mario Maura who took care of the corner kick. Florentino Phelipe tried in the 34th minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Geronimo Artizar a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Celestino Rico's late challenge caught a Cosquín AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Celestino Rico helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Margarita AFC's Celestino Rico got a free kick in the 52nd minute. In the 53rd minute of the match, Silvio Dolfos tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Gerardo Claude saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Jorge Teofilio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Gerardo Claude tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Romulo Gar hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Maximino Niguel put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Geronimo Artizar. With a little luck, Margarita AFC's Gerardo Claude got control of the ball when Jorge Teofilio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jorge Teofilio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerardo Claude having to interfere. Gerardo Claude had great luck who in the 70thth minute grab hold of the ball when Silvio Dolfos from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Melquiades Serapio in the 72nd minute of play forced Cosquín AFC's goalkeeper Geronimo Artizar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jorge Teofilio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Gerardo Claude tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Silvio Dolfos in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gerardo Claude prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Margarita AFC's Gerardo Claude got control of the ball when Romulo Gar tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gerardo Claude made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Florian in the 85th minute of play. Jorge Teofilio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gerardo Claude made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvio Dolfos in the 92nd minute of play. When Jorge Teofilio came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Cosquín AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jorge Teofilio couldn't finish the play. Cosquín AFC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Margarita AFC to leave the ground with a draw.
