When Diego Lizbeth fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Comallo FC's protests and gave Diego Lizbeth a yellow card for diving instead. In the 40th minute, Diego Lizbeth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Artemio Panfilo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredo Vidal in the 41st minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alfredo Vidal in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Artemio Panfilo saved Comallo FC from getting behind. In the 48th minute of the match Gogo Raitin sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Artemio Panfilo skillfully saved the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cirilo Maule was the one to do the kick off. When Alfredo Vidal came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Cuchilla FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfredo Vidal couldn't finish the play. Artemio Panfilo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvio Jacob, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Artemio Panfilo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alfredo Vidal in the 59th minute. Armando Tabor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Damaso Gonzo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Comallo FC's Diego Lizbeth got a free kick in the 68th minute. In the 72nd minute, Comallo FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Alfredo Vidal fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Alfredo Vidal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alfredo Vidal in the 79thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Artemio Panfilo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A collision led to Comallo FC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Santiago Haritzeder hit a great ball. Justo Lidon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Artemio Panfilo was a little too slow when Aquilino Uzuri got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 87th minute. The score was now 1-4. Alfredo Vidal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Artemio Panfilo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 95 minutes into the game, Alfredo Vidal cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Artemio Panfilo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
