Felix Lope could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Gaspar Mannie made a huge save. Volkan Demirer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orlando Vergaray in the 21st minute of the match. In the 22nd minute Teo Matro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Volkan Demirer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felix Lope received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Gaspar Mannie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ferrocarril SARMIENTO's Orlando Vergaray got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ferrocarril SARMIENTO's Teo Matro got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 36th minute of the match Feliciano Lidon sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gaspar Mannie skillfully saved the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The audience was convinced that Felix Lope's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gaspar Mannie was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. Marcial Petrigai took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Volkan Demirer. Volkan Demirer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Marcial Petrigai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Deportivo Bola Lima fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ferrocarril SARMIENTO were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
