Leo Hug made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ceferino Maties in the 3rd minute of play. In the 6th match minute, Juntas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabian Birkenhagen to maneuver through the defense. When Rene Basualdo fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Juntas's protests and gave Rene Basualdo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 13th match minute, Juntas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rene Basualdo to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 17 minutes, Ceferino Maties managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Balcarce .FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ceferino Maties was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Balcarce .FC's Esteban Ongile proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Balcarce .FC from getting a goal against them. After 28 minutes, Fabian Birkenhagen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Juntas and the Balcarce .FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Balcarce .FC booed when Juntas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabian Birkenhagen didn't get a good kick on the ball. 30 minutes in the game Carmelo Leheren did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Carlos Vale. Leo Hug took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Narciso Diaz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raul Manuelo in the 36th minute of play forced Juntas's goalkeeper Leo Hug to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Balcarce .FC were awarded a corner in the 38th minute after Juntas's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Candido Quilino took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Candido Quilino got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Leo Hug quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When Gerardo Rodriguez fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Juntas's protests and gave Gerardo Rodriguez a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Juntas getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Gerardo Rodriguez hit a great ball. After having played for 41 minutes, Raul Manuelo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Balcarce .FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raul Manuelo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Juntas's Leo Hug played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Narciso Diaz in the 45th minute of play. In the 46th minute, Fabian Birkenhagen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fabian Birkenhagen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Balcarce .FC's Narciso Diaz got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Americo Galdamez took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 58th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Leo Hug. Juntas's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Raul Manuelo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 63 minutes into the match, Juntas's goal looked a bit too open when Ceferino Maties came free, but Leo Hug reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Narciso Diaz did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-1 to the left of a surprised Leo Hug 64 minutes into the match. Narciso Diaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 80th match minute, Balcarce .FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Narciso Diaz to maneuver through the defense. In the 82nd minute, Narciso Diaz fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Narciso Diaz who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 84thth minute tested the skills of Leo Hug when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Narciso Diaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Balcarce .FC's Narciso Diaz slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Leo Hug. That made the score 0-3 after 93 minutes of play.
