DiabolicosFc's Luis Cedro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabian Birkenhagen in the 8th minute of play. 10 minutes into the match, Celedonio Millrick dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Leo Hug, 1-0. After 13 minutes, Fabian Birkenhagen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Juntas and the DiabolicosFc players grew even worse after the yellow card. Fabian Birkenhagen kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Juntas's zone, Celedonio Millrick stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leo Hug came out of the goal and Celedonio Millrick tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. DiabolicosFc's Juan Juan got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gerardo Rodriguez charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gerardo Rodriguez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of DiabolicosFc booed when Juntas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerardo Rodriguez didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Juan Verón during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 23 played minutes DiabolicosFc got a freekick which was hit by Juan Verón. Celedonio Millrick fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leo Hug having to interfere. Juan Juan received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Leo Hug came out and tried to block the shot, but Juan Juan slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 34th minute. Celedonio Millrick received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Leo Hug tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Juan Juan managed to get in a good position for a shot. DiabolicosFc's supporters rose to their feet, but Juan Juan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leo Hug breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fabian Birkenhagen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Juan Juan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bart Kaufmann in the 62nd minute of play forced Juntas's goalkeeper Leo Hug to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juan Juan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bart Kaufmann struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Leo Hug didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for DiabolicosFc. Bart Kaufmann's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leo Hug read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. In the 73rd minute Juan Juan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leo Hug saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leo Hug made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bart Kaufmann in the 76th minute of play. Leo Hug didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Juan Juan went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Juan Juan struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Leo Hug didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for DiabolicosFc. Bart Kaufmann might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leo Hug. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bart Kaufmann ran back to his position shaking his head. If Celedonio Millrick had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Juntas's Carlos Vale got a free kick in the 91st minute. Juan Juan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bart Kaufmann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Leo Hug tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
