The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Victoriano Urtsin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Victoriano Urtsin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edgardo Lawrence struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Federico Maidana didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arata FC. Federico Maidana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgardo Lawrence, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. After having played for 22 minutes, Gavino Tipi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Diadema's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gavino Tipi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 23 minutes in the game, Narciso Diaz fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Sergio Gil having to interfere. In the 27th minute, Gavino Tipi fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Edgardo Lawrence fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Federico Maidana having to interfere. 35 minutes into the game, Arata FC's Victoriano Urtsin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Federico Maidana made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. When Arata FC's Victoriano Urtsin in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Diadema's goalie prevented a goal. Diadema's Federico Maidana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victoriano Urtsin in the 40th minute of play. Adolfo Tohias hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gavino Tipi to strike the kick off in the second half. Federico Maidana stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edgardo Lawrence's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. 53 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Arata FC's Edgardo Lawrence fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Gavino Tipi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Sergio Gil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Victoriano Urtsin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Federico Maidana made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Edgardo Lawrence managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arata FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Edgardo Lawrence was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Federico Maidana breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edgardo Lawrence in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Federico Maidana saved Diadema from getting behind. After 72 played minutes Diadema got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Eyague. Victoriano Urtsin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Tobias Santiago fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Diadema's protests and gave Tobias Santiago a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Diadema booed when Arata FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgardo Lawrence didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Gavino Tipi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sergio Gil was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. Victoriano Urtsin was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 94th minute. Arata FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Edgardo Lawrence sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arata FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
