In the 2nd minute, Marciano Herauso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Agustin Joseph fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alejandro Otoniel having to interfere. If Roman Cisco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Agustin Joseph could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Alejandro Otoniel made a huge save. After 18 minutes, Filomeno Ascencio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jovita and the Quiñihuao players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Jovita getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Filomeno Ascencio hit a great ball. Aureliano Belmiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 27 minutes into the match, Quiñihuao's goal looked a bit too open when Roman Cisco came free, but Alejandro Otoniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 42 played minutes, Quiñihuao's Cristo Matei shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Marcial Niva came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Quiñihuao reached it. 46 minutes into the match, Jovita's Roman Cisco sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alejandro Otoniel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aureliano Belmiro made a kick off. Roman Cisco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Alejandro Otoniel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Agustin Joseph had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 57 minutes, Roman Cisco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jovita's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roman Cisco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Benedicto Leobardo kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Aureliano Belmiro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcial Niva was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Agustin Joseph managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jovita's supporters rose to their feet, but Agustin Joseph was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Agustin Joseph couldn't finish the play. Alejandro Otoniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roman Cisco in the 86th minute of the match. After 86 played minutes Quiñihuao got a freekick which was hit by Benedicto Leobardo. Jovita were awarded a corner in the 89th minute after Quiñihuao's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Emilio Gitano took the corner. After taking down the ball on Jovita's corner Marciano Herauso fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Alejandro Otoniel quite easily take care of the ball. Agustin Joseph's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alejandro Otoniel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. Alejandro Otoniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agustin Joseph, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
