When Basilio Bide fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Caitaco AFC's protests and gave Basilio Bide a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Espinillos booed when Caitaco AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Basilio Bide didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Santos Monte got free with Haroldo Rolado in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Cipriano Urtats had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
