An unexpectedly hard shot by Paolo Navarro in the 7th minute of play forced Surihuaya FC's goalkeeper Ovidio Haimar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Cleto Cuarto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arsenio Fero during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 11th match minute, Surihuaya FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arsenio Fero to maneuver through the defense. Ramiro Matthew made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Marco Gervaso sent off a good shot on target. Maximiliano Matai received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. After having played for 22 minutes, Marco Gervaso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Surihuaya FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marco Gervaso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ramiro Matthew made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximiliano Matai in the 23rd minute of play. In the 25th minute Maximiliano Matai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramiro Matthew saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A.C.ROMA's Ramiro Matthew played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximiliano Matai in the 29th minute of play. Maximiliano Matai got in the 34th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Ramiro Matthew handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Maximiliano Matai might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ramiro Matthew. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Maximiliano Matai ran back to his position shaking his head. Ramiro Matthew made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Marco Gervaso sent off a good shot on target. The wind increased when Paolo Navarro made the kick off in the second half. In the 75thth minute of the game Maximiliano Matai who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but A.C.ROMA's Ramiro Matthew was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Surihuaya FC's Marco Gervaso got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cleto Cuarto's late challenge caught a Surihuaya FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cleto Cuarto helped the player get up and apologised. After 95 played minutes A.C.ROMA got a freekick which was hit by Cleto Cuarto. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Surihuaya FC fully deserved thier win.
