Fernan Gimenez might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leonardo Tauro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fernan Gimenez ran back to his position shaking his head. 0-1 became the score in the 12th minute when Aristides Cordarius elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Bernardo Gil struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Alonzo Chago didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Vasquitos. After having played for 28 minutes, Fernan Gimenez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Trapiche FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fernan Gimenez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leonardo Tauro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernan Gimenez in the 29th minute of play. Leonardo Tauro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernan Gimenez in the 31st minute of the match. In the 33rd minute Fernan Gimenez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonardo Tauro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernan Gimenez in the 37th minute of play forced Los Vasquitos's goalkeeper Leonardo Tauro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Trapiche FC's zone, Bernardo Gil stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alonzo Chago came out of the goal and Bernardo Gil tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 41st minute, Maximo Ostadar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 49 minutes into the match, Trapiche FC's Aristides Cordarius sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leonardo Tauro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Los Vasquitos players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Trapiche FC were winning 0-1.

Leonardo Tauro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernan Gimenez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eriberto Lorencio during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 54 played minutes Los Vasquitos got a freekick which was hit by Eriberto Lorencio. Fernan Gimenez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Los Vasquitos's Leonardo Tauro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Los Vasquitos from getting a goal against them. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Los Vasquitos's goalkeeper Leonardo Tauro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 70 minutes, Astor Monico mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Los Vasquitos and the Trapiche FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 70 played minutes Los Vasquitos got a freekick which was hit by Astor Monico. Fernan Gimenez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonardo Tauro having to interfere. Fernan Gimenez received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Leonardo Tauro came out and tried to block the shot, but Fernan Gimenez slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 75th minute. In the 87th minute, Trapiche FC's Fernan Gimenez dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. Leonardo Tauro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernan Gimenez in the 91st minute of the match. In the 92nd minute, Eriberto Lorencio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aristides Cordarius got free with Leonardo Tauro in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Los Vasquitos's zone, Fernan Gimenez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonardo Tauro came out of the goal and Fernan Gimenez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Trapiche FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
