The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Erubiel Argi hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Camilo Arotza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 17 minutes, Juan Marko managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PlatinWings's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juan Marko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Monigotes AFC's Roman Frichoso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Monigotes AFC from getting a goal against them. Erubiel Argi hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Roman Frichoso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Juan Marko's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Monigotes AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Camilo Arotza came free, but Roman Frichoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th minute Vladimiro Brais shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laureano Sarracino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, Vladimiro Brais had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Laureano Sarracino. PlatinWings's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vladimiro Brais was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After 42 played minutes PlatinWings got a freekick which was hit by Marcos Pereyra. The crowd rose to their feet as PlatinWings's Juan Marko slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Roman Frichoso. That made the score 1-2 after 47 minutes of play. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vladimiro Brais to strike the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes, Ceferino Frederik mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Monigotes AFC and the PlatinWings players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 58thth minute of the game Juan Marko who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Monigotes AFC's Roman Frichoso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Guido Min sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Monigotes AFC's Erubiel Argi got a free kick in the 69th minute. After recieving a nice pass, PlatinWings's Jimeno Gipuzkoa tried to score from far away in the 70th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Monigotes AFC's zone, Marcos Pereyra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roman Frichoso came out of the goal and Marcos Pereyra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 76th minute, Camilo Arotza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Vladimiro Brais had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Juan Marko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roman Frichoso having to interfere. Roman Frichoso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Juan Marko's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. In the 89thth minute of the game Camilo Arotza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Monigotes AFC's Roman Frichoso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 93 minutes of play, PlatinWings's Camilo Arotza made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Roman Frichoso was left in no man's land by his defense there! Erubiel Argi hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
