After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Santiago Tebaldo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cortaderas's supporters rose to their feet, but Santiago Tebaldo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Martin Honrio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cortaderas's Enrique Vidal got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 19th minute, Oscar Jatsu made a precise shot to the right of Martin Honrio. Euskadi's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Enrique Vidal hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. If Ciro Edur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Santiago Tebaldo struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Martin Honrio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cortaderas. Esteban Marino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Gaudencio Peyo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Cortaderas were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Oscar Jatsu to make the kick off. Maximo Vigil kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. When Esteban Marino came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Euskadi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Esteban Marino couldn't finish the play. 58 minutes into the game, Esteban Marino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Gaudencio Peyo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Cortaderas's goalkeeper Gaudencio Peyo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Ciro Edur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gaudencio Peyo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Esteban Marino in the 66th minute of the match. 67 minutes into the game, Angelino Eduino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cortaderas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Euskadi the free kick. Angelino Eduino hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Ciro Edur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaudencio Peyo having to interfere. Gaudencio Peyo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Esteban Marino in the 96th minute of the match. The Cortaderas players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
