Thanks to some nice moves Ciriaco Fresco could shoot a difficult shot in the 14th minute, which Casimiro Nel however easily saved by the left post. Rafael Igon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Casimiro Nel having to interfere. Bolívar's Casimiro Nel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Bolívar from getting a goal against them. After 27 played minutes Pincén got a freekick which was hit by Abelardo Muc. 29 minutes into the match, Pincén's goal looked a bit too open when Adolfo Lonzo came free, but Mateo Ellande reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rafael Igon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Casimiro Nel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. If Ciriaco Fresco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Casimiro Nel was a little too slow when Rafael Igon got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 42nd minute. The score was now 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

After 52 minutes of play, Pincén's Rafael Igon made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Casimiro Nel was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bolívar's Domingos Feliz pulled a muscle in his back after 57 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Abelardo Muc's late challenge caught a Bolívar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. But to his dismay, Ciriaco Fresco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. When Jacobo Sidoro fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bolívar's protests and gave Jacobo Sidoro a yellow card for diving instead. In the 68th match minute, Bolívar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacobo Sidoro to maneuver through the defense. Casimiro Nel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafael Igon, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. After having played for 92 minutes, Adolfo Lonzo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bolívar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adolfo Lonzo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciriaco Fresco in the 95th minute of play forced Bolívar's goalkeeper Casimiro Nel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rafael Igon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Casimiro Nel having to interfere.
