When Christian Perutxo came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the SacaChispas Jnr fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christian Perutxo couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Cañada FC's zone, Ildefonso Michael stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Severiano Hulberto came out of the goal and Ildefonso Michael tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 19 minutes into the match, SacaChispas Jnr's Christian Perutxo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Severiano Hulberto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 26 minutes into the game, Ildefonso Michael was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SacaChispas Jnr's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cañada FC the free kick. A collision led to SacaChispas Jnr getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Ildefonso Michael hit a great ball. When Higinio Gomez came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Cañada FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Higinio Gomez couldn't finish the play. Marciano Atarrabi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Cañada FC booed when SacaChispas Jnr was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dante Eliazar didn't get a good kick on the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ildefonso Michael to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 61st minute, Higinio Gomez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 63rd minute, Marciano Atarrabi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Higinio Gomez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Ildefonso Michael had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Blas Isidor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marciano Atarrabi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dante Eliazar hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Christian Perutxo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Severiano Hulberto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
