After 33 minutes of play, Anfama's Cipriano Iigo made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ubaldo Jakes was left in no man's land by his defense there! 39 minutes in the game, Alberto Eneko fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Fernando Maurino having to interfere. Anfama's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Prospero Orlandus 40 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-1. With a little luck, Anfama's Fernando Maurino got control of the ball when Alberto Eneko tried to sneak it across the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

Jacobo Iigo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ubaldo Jakes having to interfere. 52 minutes into the game, Rodolfo Ostargi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Corre Gordo Corre's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Anfama the free kick. Anfama's supporters rose to their feet, but Cipriano Iigo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ubaldo Jakes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cipriano Iigo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Ubaldo Jakes made a huge save.
