Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Vicente James got the match started through his kick off. Porteña's Horacio Kelemen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Porteña from getting a goal against them. Astor Aurken's late challenge caught a Tablada's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Astor Aurken helped the player get up and apologised. Astor Aurken kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. In the 7th match minute, Porteña was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guillermo Ixidor to maneuver through the defense. Vicente James charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vicente James the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Vicente James hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Horacio Kelemen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eustaquio Gines in the 12th minute. Osvaldo Primeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Baldomiro Naike made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vicente James in the 21st minute of play. Moises Cordarrell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Tablada's zone, Moises Cordarrell stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baldomiro Naike came out of the goal and Moises Cordarrell tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tablada's goalkeeper Baldomiro Naike, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Baldomiro Naike came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Porteña's Vicente James. But to his dismay, Vicente James quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Saturnino Ortzi hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. In the 38th minute of the match Flavio Casado sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Baldomiro Naike skillfully saved the ball. 40 minutes into the game, Jaime Pitin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Horacio Kelemen. Jaime Pitin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. In the 44th minute, Laureano Esiquio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 45th minute, Vicente James left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Porteña fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jaime Pitin was the one to do the kick off. Tablada's Baldomiro Naike played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vicente James in the 53rd minute of play. Eustaquio Gines might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Horacio Kelemen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eustaquio Gines ran back to his position shaking his head. Horacio Kelemen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaime Pitin, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. 60 minutes into the match, Tablada's goal looked a bit too open when Vicente James came free, but Baldomiro Naike reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Porteña booed when Tablada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laureano Esiquio didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Tablada's zone, Vicente James stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baldomiro Naike came out of the goal and Vicente James tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Moises Cordarrell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Baldomiro Naike tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vicente James's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Baldomiro Naike read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eustaquio Gines in the 77th minute of play forced Porteña's goalkeeper Horacio Kelemen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 82nd minute of the match, Vicente James tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Baldomiro Naike saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Moises Cordarrell got free with Baldomiro Naike in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vicente James in the 87th minute of play forced Tablada's goalkeeper Baldomiro Naike to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Vicente James had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Laureano Esiquio hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Saturnino Ortzi hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Porteña walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
