Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Anier Enaut kicked off to start the match. In the 4th minute, Cosme Dimo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eugenio Walme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vinicio Salvator in the 5th minute of the match. If Cosme Dimo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cosme Dimo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 14th minute, Cosme Dimo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Newells Old Boys fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. The attack was good, but when Cosme Dimo in the 17th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Cosme Dimos short, quick shot in the 22ndth minute got Eugenio Walme to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 25thth minute of the game Nereo Cordeal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Banderaló FC's Eugenio Walme was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Anier Enaut kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Banderaló FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 27th minute, when Cosme Dimo scored to the left of an out of position Eugenio Walme, making the score, 3-0. In the 33rd minute, Nereo Cordeal fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Eugenio Walme, passed just outside the right post. Cosme Dimo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Eugenio Walme made a huge save. Zacarias Guerrero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cosme Dimo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Eugenio Walme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nereo Cordeal struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Eugenio Walme didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Newells Old Boys. Banderaló FC's Eugenio Walme proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Banderaló FC from getting a goal against them. If Elvio Pabla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eugenio Walme made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Cosme Dimo sent off a good shot on target. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cosme Dimo made a kick off. Eugenio Walme came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Newells Old Boys's Cosme Dimo. But to his dismay, Cosme Dimo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. In the 57th minute Cosme Dimo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugenio Walme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nereo Cordeal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Newells Old Boys's Cosme Dimo got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eugenio Walme came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Newells Old Boys's Cosme Dimo. But to his dismay, Cosme Dimo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Cosme Dimo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Jeremias Leoncio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Newells Old Boys fans' excitement grew in the 75th match minute when Newells Old Boys's Cosme Dimo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Zacarias Guerrero's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eugenio Walme read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. Banderaló FC's Eugenio Walme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cosme Dimo in the 79th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Nereo Cordeal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eugenio Walme was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Cosme Dimo put it in 8-0 from a short distance just to the right of Eugenio Walme. Newells Old Boys walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
