Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Paolo Sugar started the match with the kick off. After having played for 8 minutes, Joel Lluterio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aguaray FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joel Lluterio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Herminio Bastian's late challenge caught a Aguaray FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Herminio Bastian helped the player get up and apologised. Herminio Bastian hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. With his leg Justo Loren managed to avoid a goal in the 11thth minute, when Aguaray FC's Joel Lluterio fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Nicolas Constancio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paolo Sugar in the 13th minute of the match. Joel Lluterio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Justo Loren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 20 minutes into the game, Cayetano Abeitia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Justo Loren was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 24th minute of the match Braulio Claus shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Justo Loren showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With a little luck, Boca Juniors's Justo Loren got control of the ball when Guaberto Erdiano tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 27th minute, Joel Lluterio fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Rolando Mogel kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Cayetano Abeitia was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 31st minute. Aguaray FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Braulio Claus took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 33rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Justo Loren. Boca Juniors's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Boca Juniors's Justo Loren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cayetano Abeitia in the 34th minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Dionisio Matia in the 36th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Aguaray FC's Cayetano Abeitia. Nicolas Constancio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paolo Sugar, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Cayetano Abeitia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Justo Loren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Aguaray FC booed when Boca Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rolando Mogel didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Cayetano Abeitia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Augusto Mosen took the ball and in the 48 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nicolas Constancio. Nicolas Constancio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joel Lluterio made a kick off. In the 54th minute Joel Lluterio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Justo Loren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joel Lluterio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Justo Loren having to interfere. Justo Loren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guaberto Erdiano in the 60th minute of the match. When Aguaray FC's Joel Lluterio in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Boca Juniors's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guaberto Erdiano in the 63rd minute of play forced Boca Juniors's goalkeeper Justo Loren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 65th minute, Joel Lluterio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 67 minutes into the match, Aguaray FC's goal looked a bit too open when Paolo Sugar came free, but Nicolas Constancio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guaberto Erdiano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Justo Loren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 71st minute, Joel Lluterio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 73rd minute of the match Tobias Lopes sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Justo Loren skillfully saved the ball. 75 minutes into the match, Aguaray FC's Joel Lluterio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Justo Loren narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Boca Juniors's Justo Loren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cayetano Abeitia in the 76th minute of play. Paolo Piarres charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paolo Piarres the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Paolo Piarres kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Aguaray FC's Cayetano Abeitia tried to score from far away in the 78th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Paolo Piarres hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Boca Juniors's zone, Cayetano Abeitia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Justo Loren came out of the goal and Cayetano Abeitia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 86th minute Joel Lluterio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Justo Loren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Simon Beat kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Cayetano Abeitia struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Justo Loren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aguaray FC. If Joel Lluterio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cayetano Abeitia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Justo Loren read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. Joel Lluterio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Joel Lluterio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Boca Juniors succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Aguaray FC had controlled the match.
